Serena advises employers and individuals across the spectrum of employment law. She has extensive expertise advising on complex negotiated exits, restrictive covenants and issues around reputational damage.
Serena has a strong practice advising senior-level employees and LLP members, often working within the financial services sector, on employment and partnership matters. She also regularly advises individuals in relation to discrimination and whistleblowing claims and disputes around deferred compensation. Her clear-headed and pragmatic approach helps clients achieve the outcomes they desire, often at a time of immense personal pressure.
Serena also undertakes employment-related work for corporate and institutional clients across a range of contentious and non-contentious issues. She provides commercial and user-friendly advice to employer clients, having accrued extensive in-house experience during secondments with clients including Imperial College, Royal Bank of Canada, The Natural History Museum and British Sky Broadcasting. Serena has considerable experience advising in relation to complex employment litigation, disciplinary and grievance matters, and contractual issues.
Serena qualified as a solicitor in 2007.
