Lindsay Cunningham
Senior Counsel
Lindsay provides practical advice on a wide range of residential property matters, in particular the sale and acquisition of high-value freehold and leasehold property. Her varied practice includes acting for receivers on residential transactions, dealing with new build acquisitions, property related probate and family matters and providing property finance advice to both banks and borrowers. She is efficient and personable and is experienced working within tight timeframes.
Lindsay has experience advising a variety of clients, from well-known sports stars to private banks. She acts on high-value residential property finance transactions as well as sales and purchases of residential property in prime central London and beyond. She also assists her clients with landlord and tenant issues, probate, family, and tax matters with a property focus and has experience acting for LPA receivers dealing with residential property.
Lindsay’s clients appreciate her efficiency and discretion and her friendly, pro-active approach. She recognises that buying and selling property can be an emotional experience and works hard to ensure that her clients are supported every step of the way and that they achieve the outcome they desire, to the timeframe they have chosen. Lindsay also works closely with trusted intermediaries such as surveyors, private bankers, buying and selling agents and mortgage brokers in order to provide her clients with support on all aspects of their property transactions.
Highlights of her recent work include acting for a private bank on a fast-paced £45m financing, exchanging within one week for clients on their purchase of a £6m property in central London, with bank finance and negotiating some tricky legal matters on a sale by receivers of multiple residential units.
Lindsay qualified as a solicitor in 2012, having completed her training contract with Farrer & Co.
