Laetitia Ransley
Partner
Laetitia specialises in advising charities, not-for-profits and philanthropists. She is experienced in working with a broad range of clients, from private individuals wishing to explore their philanthropic options, to long-established institutions wishing to effect significant constitutional, governance or structural change.
She regularly advises on structuring and restructuring (including formation, merger and group arrangements), engagement with regulators, governance and constitutional matters, trading and tax, major gifts and endowments and the management of charity property and assets.
One of the things which Laetitia most enjoys about working in the charity sector is its breadth: from its historic roots in private giving, to the complex group structures with which many charities now operate.
While placing an emphasis on complex, strategic and time-sensitive legal issues where specialist advice is critical, her practice is "cradle to grave" and covers setting up new charities, assisting them with strategic change and advising on dissolution.
Clients appreciate Laetitia's helpful, professional and practical approach to advising. She enjoys building positive working relationships and enabling people and organisations to achieve their objectives.
