Alyson has significant experience working with international and high net worth clients on complex financial disputes including those involving jurisdictional issues. She advises on all aspects of family law including divorce and separation, the negotiation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and matters involving children. She is dual qualified in California.
Alyson advises clients on all aspects of family law and has particular expertise in resolving complex and high-value matrimonial finance matters and negotiating financial arrangements on divorce. Many of her cases have an international element, involving foreign jurisdictions or assets, and she regularly acts for US-based clients and on matters with a US legal dimension.
Acting for a wide variety of individuals from city professionals and entrepreneurs to homemakers, Alyson provides reassuring, friendly, and proactive guidance during what is an extremely difficult time in people's lives. Clients appreciate her confidence, compassion and responsiveness and she draws on her experience working as a family law litigator in California.
With experience drafting and negotiating pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, Alyson works on both contentious and non-contentious cases to put in place the marital agreements best suited to her client's needs. She also advises on conflicts that can arise in relation to these agreements, including contested divorces where one party is seeking the variation of a pre-nuptial agreement.
Alyson's work extends to matters involving children on relationship breakdown, including living arrangements, financial provision and financial arrangements for unmarried parents.
