Henry advises on all aspects of commercial real estate matters for a wide range of clients. He has a particular focus on development projects, and in particular legacy development projects, working with landowners and developers to build design-led, sustainable and community focussed mixed use schemes.

Henry’s clients range from UHNW individuals to major landowners to occupiers to museums to corporates. Henry works closely with clients, understanding both their business and the nature of the property asset to provide considered, pragmatic and commercial advice in order to reach a successful conclusion.

Henry is experienced in acting in a wide variety of commercial real estate matters including investment sales and acquisitions, development transactions, portfolio management, all aspects of landlord and tenant work for both landlords and occupiers and corporate M&A transactions.

Henry has a particular expertise in development transactions both residential and commercial schemes. Working alongside colleagues in Farrer & Co’s tax, rural property, planning, construction and environment teams, Henry often leads on complex multi-phase development projects with multiple stakeholders.

Henry takes great satisfaction in working closely alongside clients on transactions from initial conception through to execution and completion. He enjoys working on the whole life cycle of investment and development projects. His work on major legacy development schemes often requires involvement at the developer interview stage working closely with property advisors and promoters in helping to structure development schemes for clients.

Henry is ranked in Chambers and Partners as an Up and Coming partner and in The Legal 500 as a Next Generation Partner for Development.

Henry qualified as a solicitor in 2010.
