Anna advises on a range of private client matters, with a particular focus on probate and the administration of deceased estates.
While Anna’s practice largely is devoted to administration of estates, her broader expertise includes advising individuals on their Wills, Inheritance Tax and estate planning; and acting for trustees on all aspects of trust administration.
Anna’s career has particularly focussed on landed estates and heritage matters including advising clients on heritage taxation such as the conditional exemption regime and offers in lieu of Inheritance Tax.
Anna acts on behalf of the Duchy of Lancaster and the Duchy of Cornwall in the administration of bona vacantia intestate estates and dissolved company assets.
Anna joined Farrer & Co in 2005 as a trainee solicitor and qualified into the firm’s Private Client team where she worked until 2019. Anna rejoined the firm in 2021.
